Gauge 1 (1:32 Scale) Wheels

Locomotive Driving Wheels

These wheels are to Fine Profile (prefixed 'F'), but with 41mm B-B.

Locomotive Driving Wheelsets comprise 2 wheels and a 1/4" diameter (except F8838MW, F8838P, F8842Y7 and F8879SW - 3/16") square-ended axle with fixing screws and come complete with 'short' crankpins (for coupling rods only). A conversion pack (see Ref. 9805 is needed to create the 'long' version for coupling and connecting rods.

Most locomotive scale wheels are secured using an Allen Key which is 2mm A/F (see item X98001) except those which have 3/16" diameter axles, these are secured with an Allen Key which is 1.27mm A/F (see item X78001). In the Crankpin column 'PB' denotes that the crankpin position is between two spokes whereas 'IL' denotes that the crankpin position is in-line with a spoke.
