Setting a new standard for finescale 16mm scale/32mm gauge Narrow Gauge subjects. This new model is intended primarily for 2-rail indoor operation, but is suitable for use with batteries. This Slate Quarry Hunslet is based on Dinorwic's Rough Pup, but is very similar to several others.
The kit features easy fold-up etchings for the frames and footplate, detailed resin castings for the smokebox, tank and firebox, a number of precision turned components, lots of detailed metal castings in nickel silver, brass and white metal and includes wheels, motor and gearbox.
The photograph shows the assembly of the final test model, prior to going into full production. The finished result is a highly detailed model, fully up to Museum quality, yet well within the building capability of the average modeller.
