Welcome to Slater’s Plastikard.
We specialise in model railway products for 'O' Gauge 7mm scale, 1:32 Narrow Gauge, 4mm scale, 16mm Narrow Gauge, Gauge 1, Gauge 3, 5" Gauge and 7/8" scale.
We produce a large range of high quality products suitable for the beginner right the way through to the experienced model builder.
IMPORTANT
It has been brought to our attention that some wheels purportedly manufactured by us are currently for sale on eBay.
These are NOT Slater's products being manufactured in China. They are not to the high quality you would associate with us and they are not compatible with our bearings, crankpins and axles.
We are currently aware of 7880G and 7851G being sold in this manner but there may be others.
Distinguishing features of the fakes are that the tyres are plated, the screws holding the wheel onto the axle are blackened and do not sit flush into the wheel, the axles are 4.5mm diameter rather than 3/16", all screw threads are metric rather than BA and finally, on the rear of the wheel, the centre bush is of a hexagonal shape whereas our bushes are octagonal.
You are STRONGLY advised never to purchase goods offered as new and purportedly manufactured by Slater's unless they come in full retail packaging from a reputable retailer or via our own website.
Order confirmations
We are experiencing a 'glitch' in the order confirmation process which primarily appears to be affecting Gmail users. If you get an "order accepted" message then we will have received your order even if you do not get a confirmation email. Pre-painted Kits
We are now able to offer some of our range of 7mm scale coach kits in ready painted liveries. Please visit the PRE PAINTED COACH KIT PAGE.
We are also offering pre-printed 7mm scale P.O. wagon kits using our new process. We shall be introducing new liveries during 2021. It should be pointed out that we do not produce a livery if it is not accurate to our wagon bodies and we have photographic proof of the original prototype. Kits painted using the new process are noted on the 7mm scale P.O. wagons page.
EU Orders
Due to changes in VAT legislation following the UK's withdrawal from the EU, the minimum order we are currently able to accept for delivery within the EU (including the Republic of Ireland) is £140.00. We apologise for this inconvenience.
On-Line Order Information
Except for orders to be delivered within the EU where the minimum order is £140.00, the minimum order value is £10.00

Credit Card Transactions
Note that your credit card will not be charged until items are ready for dispatch and will include carriage charges appropriate to the order value and delivery address.
