The Bristol Wagon & Carriage Works provided 16 coaches, of six different types, for the opening of the line, and they were regarded as some of the finest on any British public narrow gauge line. N6C01 represents the Brake Third; No 16 remained in this form until the end, but No 15 later became a Brake Composite by altering the internal layout.
